The Neores mission is to improve neonatal respiratory support to save more preterm infants from death and comorbidities
Neores is a research and design company with a focus on developing new equipment for breathing support of premature and term infants. The inventors of these innovative solutions, Kjell Nilsson and Thomas Drevhammar, founded Neores in the year 2013 as an academic spin-off from research projects at Karolinska Institutet. The focus is to expand clinical research and further develop products used in the field of respiratory support in neonates.

Resuscitation
Supporting transition to breathing is the primary focus of care after birth. The lungs go from liquid filled to breathing air.
Avoiding intubation
Avoiding intubation and supporting spontaneous breathing has been the target of training, teaching and neonatal research for more than 50 years.
Facilitating skin-to-skin stabilization
With rPAP continued respiratory support can be delivered during transportation and in the neonatal unit while child is resting close to mother
Nasal interface
Facilitate breast feeding and baby’s efforts of spontaneous breathing, in contrast to face mask
